Carla Y. Stewart Memorial Fund

Edit

In 2006, the employees of Kimmel & Associates decided to provide assistance to a group of people very dear to them: themselves. The Human Fund was created as a means by which it could aid any employee who found his or her resources stretched thin by some hardship or emergency. In 2017, the Fund was renamed The Carla Y. Stewart Memorial Fund in honor of Carla Stewart, a long time Kimmel employee who was dedicated to helping fellow employees.

Any Kimmel employee or family member with a genuine need that he or she cannot meet, can appeal to the Carla Y. Stewart Memorial Fund generous aid that comes from voluntary contributions from the applicant's friends and fellow workers here.

This is a program by which employees can help other employees and their families when emergencies arise, allowing employees to focus on the emergency and hopefully reduce the stress on their finances.

The structure and methodology of The Carla Y. Stewart Memorial Fund are explained below:

Purpose

The Carla Y. Stewart Memorial Fund is the benevolence fund of the employees of Kimmel & Associates. It is a program by which employees can help other employees when emergencies arise. It is meant to assist anyone at Kimmel who faces an emergency and does not have the money to address it. Appeals to The Carla Y. Stewart Memorial Fund should be based on needs, not wants. This is for emergencies, not luxuries.
