Attendance
EditFront Office Hours:
The front office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Building Access:
The building is open to consultants seven days a week, beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m. Outside of those hours, the alarm will sound if you enter or exit the building.
If you come to the office on the weekends, please use your key, rather than the key fob, as you will need to unlock the deadbolt when you enter and re-lock it when you leave. You will also need to use the stairwell during weekend hours; the door can be unlocked using your key fob or by entering your unique code (the last 4 digits of your social security number).
Paid Holidays:
The office is closed for the following federal holidays: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. All full-time employees receive a paid holiday on those days.
For anyone who wishes to come in, the building is open for access as usual during those days, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (see Building Access above for instructions).
In/Out Board:
The front office depends on the In/Out Board to manage incoming communications and support needs. Please sign in at the start of your workday and sign out at the end, as well as signing in and out whenever you are away from your desk (for meetings, lunch, errands, etc.). Please include an expected return time, so that we may communicate effectively with your callers.
By default, the front office will always offer your cell phone number to callers when you are out of the office. If you are in a situation where you do not want your mobile number offered (i.e. sick, at an appointment, etc.), please indicate that on the In/Out Board.
Planned Absences:
A good rule of thumb is to request/report absences 2 days in advance for each day off. For example, you should provide at least a 2-week notice for 1 week off.
All planned absences should be submitted to Lizie (kimmel@kimmel.com). Recruiters and administrative staff should also submit requests to their consultant or manager. Please let them know the dates that you will be absent, as well as how to handle your calls (take messages, direct to your cell, etc.).
Unplanned Absences:
If you are sick or have an unexpected issue that will make you late or absent, please email or call Lizie (kimmel@kimmel.com) and, for consultants, Zach Coddington (zcoddington@kimmel.com) as soon as possible. Recruiters and administrative staff should also notify their consultant or manager.
Any excessive absences or attendance issues will be addressed in a common-sense manner.
\\\*Note that this is a non-smoking campus; please do not take smoke breaks anywhere in the building or in the alleyway adjacent to our offices. This includes all tobacco, vaping, etc.
