Employee Status and Work Hours:

Kimmel maintains employee status to ensure consistency and compliance of policies and benefits.

Employee Status and Benefit Eligibility:

A full-time employee works on average 30 or more hours a week. Full-time employees are eligible for Kimmel’s full benefit package including health insurance and perks.

A part-time/semi-retired consultant works less than 30 hours a week. Unfortunately, these consultants are ineligible for any benefits. Additional perks and bonuses will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

A seasonal part-time employee works on a temporary basis, typically in the summer or during school breaks. Part-time employees are not eligible for company benefits.

Changes In Status:

Will be discussed prior to status change.

  • Long-term successful consultants with a history of production and desire to continue to contribute to Kimmel & Associates.
  • Consultants who consistently work less than 30 hours per week.

Work Hours:

The standard work week is 40 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. in your marketplace. A one-hour break for lunch, errand, working out, etc. is standard. Any additional time is not considered working hours.

Due to the nature of our business, afterhours activity such as phone calls or emails may take place in the evening or on the weekend.
